Job Summary
Lead and manage document control activities across the project lifecycle for the Energy Team on nationwide UK infrastructure projects; act as the primary point of contact for document management processes and systems (EDMS such as Aconex, SharePoint, and CDEs); oversee document versions, filing structures, distribution, and ensuring latest approved revisions are accessible to stakeholders; maintain project document registers, workflows, and numbering; coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors; produce regular and ad-hoc reporting on document status and compliance; develop and improve document control procedures and best practices; train and mentor project team members on document management systems, standards, and procedures; ensure proper archiving and transfer of project information at project completion; drive continuous improvement in document control processes and timely expediting of overdue documentation, with strong attention to quality and consistency across all documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven senior document control/management experience
- Experience with EDMS (Aconex, SharePoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to train and mentor project team members
- UK infrastructure and energy projects experience
