Job Summary
Lead and manage all records management and document control activities for federal infrastructure projects, developing procedures and overseeing document management systems to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Direct and supervise document control personnel, coordinate administrative activities across project teams, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy. Monitor document transmittals, correspondence logs, and project closeout documentation while resolving workflow bottlenecks and supporting audits. Review and manage office invoices, budgets, and administrative expenditures related to document control operations. This role supports multidisciplinary teams in meeting client demands across Robles Junction, AZ; Sonoita, AZ; Casa Grande, AZ; Indio, CA; and San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of related document control, records management, or project administration experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Must be able to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of document control, records management, or project administration experience supporting federal projects
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, environmental, transportation, water, or facilities programs for federal agencies
- Advanced proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS), records management software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing document control procedures and quality management processes
- Experience managing project budgets, invoices, and administrative reporting functions
- Knowledge of federal records retention requirements, quality assurance procedures, and contractual documentation standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple project teams and locations
