Job Summary
Lead and manage all records management and document control activities for federal projects and programs, developing and maintaining control procedures, standards, and workflows to ensure compliance. Establish and oversee document management systems for proper storage, version control, and retrieval while directing and supervising document control personnel. Coordinate administrative activities across project teams, review documentation for completeness and accuracy, and interface with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies regarding deliverables. Monitor transmittals, correspondence logs, and records inventories, manage office invoices and budgets, and support audits and quality assurance reviews. Resolve document control issues and workflow bottlenecks to maintain project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of related document control, records management, or project administration experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of document control, records management, or project administration experience supporting federal projects
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, environmental, transportation, water, or facilities programs for federal agencies
- Advanced proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS), records management software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing document control procedures and quality management processes
- Experience managing project budgets, invoices, and administrative reporting functions
- Knowledge of federal records retention requirements, quality assurance procedures, and contractual documentation standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple project teams and locations
