Job Summary
Manage the creation and modification of Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on technical inputs from the Product Development team to support new product launches and design modifications. Coordinate service BOMs and spare part development between Product Development and Customer Service, while generating and maintaining master material numbers within SAP and CMD environments. Govern the release of engineering documentation throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring data integrity in accordance with approved Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Define Appliance Engineering Tolerances and technical approvals for the BSH product line, initiating technical data exchanges during Engineering Change Review meetings. Audit and correct complex BOMs to prevent downstream operational issues, leveraging advanced proficiency in SAP ERP and TC systems to streamline documentation workflows. Provide dedicated documentation and engineering support to Development and Sustaining Engineering departments, offering cross-functional backup to maintain business continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Established ability to perform Specialist I, Doc Control position with ease
- Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP systems, specifically within master data and documentation modules (such as CMD and R1P)
- Direct, hands-on experience utilizing TC systems and executing technical change procedures
- High speed and accuracy in master data entry, with a strict focus on detail and data integrity
- Hands-on experience with consumer cooking appliances or related products
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Familiarity with Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflows
