Job Summary
Document Centre Team Member – CAD Operative responsible for producing and revising station technical drawings and managing controlled documents within AMS/CDMS to satisfy site licence requirements and regulatory obligations. Responsibilities include maintaining document records, ensuring accessibility of approved documents, protecting and organizing hard copy and digital records, responding to internal/external requests with proper copyright and security classifications, and collaborating across engineers, contract partners, and project managers to meet design specifications. Required skills include 2D AutoCAD proficiency, strong IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), data-tracking via spreadsheets, effective communication, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a regulated environment. Role involves producing detailed drawings, overseeing distribution/audits of drawings, enhancing historic drawings for clarity, and digitizing documents; work may be carried out onsite or remotely as per site practices. Qualifications include GCSEs/English/Maths and proficiency in AMS/CDMS and Microsoft Office; experience with Business Objects and document management systems is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to industry standards and regulations, and alignment with EDF Nuclear Jobs branding and safety culture.

- Proficient in document reporting tools - Business Objects
- Working knowledge of documented information management systems
- Ability to produce and revise station drawings in line with engineers’ specifications
