Job Summary

Document Administrator III at Bank of America, part of the Global Credit Operations team, responsible for independently reviewing loan documents prepared by counsel to ensure consistency with requirements, and managing incoming and outgoing payments for loans. The role requires coordinating with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, Agency Management, and internal/external Legal Counsel to ensure seamless closing, and updating the LoanIQ system with new commitments, amendments, or restructures. The position emphasizes strong analytical abilities in complex commercial loan documentation, excellent organization and communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred experience includes commercial lending (Syndicated loans) and LoanIQ, with a mindset geared toward driving innovation and adapting to evolving client needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience analyzing complex legal documentation including familiarity with commercial loan terminology
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to plan, prioritize and manage deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to target messaging to different audiences
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently while balancing early escalation to ensure seamless closing
  • Experience with commercial lending including Syndicated Loan environment (preferred)
  • Finance, accounting, or mathematical background (preferred)
  • Experience with LoanIQ (preferred)
  • Willingness to adapt to a quickly evolving environment
