Job Summary
Review occupational health referrals and workplace exposure incidents; authorize standing orders, immunization protocols, and related documentation. Provide physician oversight for occupational health testing and workplace exposure follow-up, including use of physician name on blood work requisitions and signing off on vaccine and drug orders. Report to the Director of Human Resources and collaborate with the Occupational Health team to ensure staff health, safety, and well-being. This two-year renewable contract begins December 2026 with a flexible one-hour weekly on-site commitment at St.Amant in Winnipeg. Bilingual proficiency is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD)
- Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
Desired Qualifications
- Specialization in occupational medicine
- Experience in occupational health and workplace health assessments
- Proficiency in both official languages (French/English)
