Job Summary
Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting available products and services. Facilitate coordination between retail and professional services, schedule and confirm appointments, collect patient history, perform pre-tests (including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis, amsler grid), assist with patient complaints and order status, ensure brand standards through basic housekeeping, and perform simple repairs and lens edging to expedite eyeglass delivery. Maintain accurate records, support lab activities, monitor delivery times, and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team dedicated to high-quality eye care and sales.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- active listening and empathy
- collaborative spirit and teamwork
- multitask and adapt to changing business needs
