Job Summary

Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while identifying specific needs. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and complete pre-tests including tonometry, auto-refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Foster a strong partnership between the retail and clinical services teams, assist with complaint resolution, and ensure all patient expectations are met. Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining brand standards in the lab area. Keep track of delivery time commitments to ensure 100% compliance with Now Service and Ready When Promised promises.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
  • 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
  • Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
  • Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
