Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while ensuring a memorable experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history and personal data, and complete pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Assist with patient complaint resolution, monitor delivery time commitments for 100% compliance, and execute simple repairs such as assembling lenses into frames. Maintain brand standards in the lab area, perform basic housekeeping, and notify management of equipment malfunctions or incomplete orders. Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
