Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while ensuring a memorable experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history into the system, and complete pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Foster a strong partnership between the retail and clinical services teams by assisting with complaint resolution and informing management of job statuses. Perform basic housekeeping duties, execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery of eyeglasses. Maintain brand standards in the lab area, notify management of equipment malfunctions, and track delivery time commitments to ensure 100% compliance with Now Service and Ready When Promised promises.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
