Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, identify needs, and gather information to facilitate sales while fostering a strong partnership between retail and clinical teams. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, visual acuity, and color tests. Assist with complaint resolution, execute simple repairs, assemble lenses, and ensure brand standards are met in the lab area. Track delivery commitments to ensure 100% compliance with Now Service and Ready When Promised timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor
