Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while fostering a partnership between retail and clinical teams. Schedule appointments, enter patient history, and complete pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, visual acuity, and color tests. Assist with complaint resolution, perform basic housekeeping, and execute simple repairs such as assembling lenses and edge stock. Ensure brand standards in the lab area, notify management of equipment issues, and track delivery commitments to maintain 100% compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
