Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, identify needs to facilitate sales, and answer inquiries while gathering information. Foster a strong partnership between the retail and clinical services teams by scheduling appointments, entering patient history, and completing pre-tests including tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Assist with complaint resolution, ensure brand standards through basic housekeeping and lab area maintenance, and execute simple repairs such as assembling lenses and edge stock. Track delivery time commitments to ensure 100% compliance with Now Service and Ready When Promised standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor
