Job Summary
Greet patients and customers as they enter the store, identify needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while promoting available products and services. Build a strong partnership between the retail and professional services teams. Schedule and confirm appointments, collect patient history, and perform pre-tests (including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis, and amsler grid). Assist management with patient concerns, ensure orders are delivered on time, and uphold brand standards in both the lab and store. Perform basic repairs and lens edging to expedite delivery, notify management of equipment malfunctions, and maintain service commitments to patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group
- active listening

- collaborative spirit
- prior experience in retail optical or healthcare environment (preferred)
