Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while ensuring an easy and memorable experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, visual acuity, and color tests. Foster a strong partnership between the retail and clinical services teams by assisting with complaint resolution and informing management of job statuses. Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining brand standards in the lab area. Keep track of delivery time commitments to ensure 100% compliance with Now Service and Ready When Promised standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
