Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while promoting available services. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and complete pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and clinical services by assisting with complaint resolution and ensuring all patient expectations are met. Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery of eyeglasses while maintaining brand standards in the lab area. Keep track of delivery time commitments to ensure 100% compliance with service promises.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
