Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, identify needs, and facilitate sales while fostering a strong partnership between retail and clinical teams. Schedule appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Assist with complaint resolution, ensure brand standards through housekeeping, and execute lens assembly and repairs to expedite deliveries. Track delivery commitments for full compliance and notify management of equipment malfunctions or order discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
