Job Summary

Greet patients and customers, identify needs to facilitate sales, and gather information to support the transition from clinical to retail services. Complete pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments; schedule and confirm appointments while entering patient history. Assist with complaint resolution, execute simple repairs, and assemble lenses into frames to ensure accurate, on-time delivery. Maintain brand standards in the lab area, track delivery commitments for full compliance, and notify management of equipment issues or incomplete orders.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
  • 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
  • Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
  • Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
