Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic pre-testing, digital refraction, and contact lens care under physician supervision while maintaining accurate patient history and personal information. Greet patients, identify needs, and facilitate sales by providing promotions and gathering necessary information to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, resolve patient complaints, and execute simple repairs such as assembling lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery. Collaborate with the retail team to foster strong partnerships, maintain brand standards in the lab area, and ensure all clinical and operational metrics are met. Maintain patient records confidentially in accordance with HIPAA requirements and complete required computer-based learning to enhance overall patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365
- Schedule flexibility
- Work hours will be determined based on business needs
