Job Summary
Doctor Technician at Physicians Eyecare Group in Erwin, NC. Provide outstanding patient experience by facilitating the transition from PEG Clinical services to the retail team, performing duties such as Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Digital Refraction, and Contact Lens care under PEG supervision. Deliver high-quality customer service, greet patients, gather information, schedule appointments, assist with patient concerns, maintain patient records under HIPAA, and support store goals and clinical metrics with a collaborative team. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of customer service experience; strong communication, multitasking, and flexibility. Optical experience is a plus; equal opportunity employer. On-site role at Erwin location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor
- Proactive problem solving and multitasking in a team environment
- Schedule flexibility; hours determined by business needs
- Interest in working with technology; optical experience a plus
- Optical experience is a plus
