Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, identify needs to facilitate sales, and answer inquiries to ensure a memorable experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Assist with complaint resolution, execute simple repairs, assemble lenses, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery of eyeglasses. Maintain brand standards in the lab area, notify management of equipment issues, and track delivery commitments to ensure 100% compliance. Foster a strong partnership between the retail and clinical services teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit, while building respectful and cordial relationships with your team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and maintain a positive demeanor
