Job Summary
Greet patients and customers entering the store; identify needs to ensure a positive and memorable experience while promoting available products and services. Facilitate a strong partnership between the retail and clinical services teams; perform pre-tests (e.g., noncontact tonometry auto refraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis test, amsler grid) and collect medical history as needed. Schedule appointments, manage patient information, and assist management with patient issue resolution. Execute basic repairs and lens edging/assembly to expedite eyeglasses delivery, maintain brand standards in the lab, monitor delivery time commitments, and ensure accurate, timely orders. Employ strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent patient service and support clinic–retail coordination.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Active listening, building rapport, and empathy toward patients
- Problem solving abilities and proactive mindset
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work with a team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor
