Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic pre-testing, digital refraction, and contact lens care under physician supervision while ensuring accurate patient history entry and HIPAA-compliant record security. Greet patients, identify needs, and facilitate sales by answering inquiries and promoting available products and services. Schedule and confirm appointments, resolve patient complaints, and execute simple repairs such as assembling lenses into frames to expedite delivery. Collaborate with the retail team to foster strong partnerships, maintain brand standards in the lab area, and ensure 100% compliance with delivery time commitments. Achieve daily, weekly, and quarterly clinical and operational goals including conversion rates and pretest wait times.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- schedule flexibility
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365
