Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales while promoting available services. Orchestrate the efficient transition from clinical services to the retail team by scheduling appointments, entering patient history, and completing pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Assist with complaint resolution, maintain brand standards through housekeeping and lab area upkeep, and execute simple repairs such as assembling lenses and edge stock to ensure accurate, on-time delivery. Monitor delivery commitments for Now Service and Ready When Promised programs to maintain 100% compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit, while building respectful and cordial relationships with your team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and maintain a positive demeanor
