Job Summary

Greet patients and customers to facilitate sales, gather necessary information, and ensure a memorable experience. Schedule appointments, enter patient history, and perform clinical assessments including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity tests. Assist with customer repairs, assemble lenses, and expedite eyeglass deliveries while maintaining brand standards in the lab area. Resolve patient complaints, track delivery commitments for full compliance, and notify management of equipment or order issues. Foster strong partnerships between retail and clinical teams to support efficient service flow.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
  • 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
  • Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
  • Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
