Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, answer inquiries, and gather necessary information to facilitate sales. Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services by scheduling appointments, entering patient history, and completing pre-tests including tonometry and visual acuity. Assist with complaint resolution, ensure brand standards through housekeeping and lab area maintenance, and execute simple customer repairs such as lens assembly. Keep track of delivery time commitments to maintain 100% compliance with service promises.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
