Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, gather necessary information to facilitate sales, and answer inquiries to ensure a memorable experience. Orchestrate the transition from clinical services to retail by scheduling appointments, entering patient history, and completing pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, and visual acuity assessments. Assist with customer complaint resolution, execute simple repairs, assemble lenses, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining brand standards in the lab area. Track delivery time commitments to ensure 100% compliance with Now Service and Ready When Promised expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
