Job Summary
Greet patients and customers upon entry, identify needs, and facilitate sales while fostering a partnership between retail and clinical teams. Schedule appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, visual acuity, and color tests. Assist with complaint resolution, ensure brand standards through housekeeping, and execute repairs such as lens assembly and edge stock installation. Track delivery commitments for Now Service and Ready When Promised to guarantee 100% compliance. You will work on-site at the store location with competitive variable compensation and commission on sales.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
- Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
- Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
