Job Summary
Examine patients remotely using patented video conference technology to conduct comprehensive eye exams. Analyze eye health with Ophthalmic Technician support and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses. Partner with DigitalOptometrics as an independent contractor while working from any location where you hold a valid Texas optometry license. We handle all necessary credentialing and training. Required Qualifications
- Texas state licensed Optometrists
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Multiple state licenses
