Job Summary
Examine patients remotely using patented video conference technology to conduct comprehensive eye exams and analyze eye health with Ophthalmic Technician support. Generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses while partnering from a remote location. Communicate with patients verbally and visually through specialized video conference tools. Work as an independent contractor with DigitalOptometrics, providing a primary or supplemental income source without leaving home. We assist with all necessary credentialing and training.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee state licensed Optometrist
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
