Examine patients remotely using patented video conference technology to assess eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses. Communicate with patients verbally and visually while partnering with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze data. This role requires a state-licensed Doctor of Optometry working as an independent contractor, offering flexible scheduling without leaving home. DigitalOptometrics provides credentialing and training support for this remote tele-optometry position.
Required Qualifications
- State licensed Doctor of Optometry
- State licensed Optometrist
- Independent Contractor status
- Licensed in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually
