Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients using patented remote video conference technology while working as an independent contractor from a remote location. Analyze eye health with Ophthalmic Technician support to generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses. Communicate with patients verbally and visually through specialized remote platforms. This role supports added flexibility for Pennsylvania state licensed Optometrists seeking a supplemental source of income without leaving home. We provide competitive compensation and handle all necessary credentialing and training. Multiple state licenses are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Pennsylvania state licensed Optometrists
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Ability to partner from a remote location
