Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and analyze eye health for patients using patented remote video conference technology. Generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses while partnering with on-site Ophthalmic Technicians from a remote location. Communicate with patients verbally and visually to deliver services without leaving home. This role supports added flexibility for Oregon state licensed Optometrists working as independent contractors with DigitalOptometrics. We provide competitive compensation and handle all necessary credentialing and training. Multiple state licenses are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon state licensed Optometrist
- Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Ability to partner from a remote location
