Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams using patented remote video conference technology with unique Ophthalmic Technician support. Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses while partnering from a remote location. Communicate with patients verbally and visually through specialized video tools. Work as an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptometrics to provide a primary or supplemental source of income without leaving home. We provide competitive compensation and will assist with all needed credentialing and training. This role supports expanded patient scheduling options via Teleoptometric Service ND, P.C.
Required Qualifications
- North Dakota state licensed Optometrist
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Ability to partner from a remote location
