Job Summary
Examine patients remotely using patented video conference technology to assess eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses. Partner with Ophthalmic Technicians to deliver comprehensive eye exams while working as an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptometrics. Communicate verbally and visually with patients through specialized remote platforms, with no requirement to leave home. We support all necessary credentialing and training for New Mexico state licensed Optometrists. Competitive compensation is provided for this flexible role.
Required Qualifications
- New Mexico state licensed Optometrist
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Ability to partner from a remote location
