Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses using patented remote video conference technology. Analyze patient eye health with support from Ophthalmic Technicians while working as an Independent Contractor from a remote location. Communicate with patients verbally and visually through specialized platforms to deliver full-day or partial-day coverage, including Saturday availability, at least two days per week. We handle all necessary credentialing and training. This role offers flexibility for New Hampshire licensed optometrists to earn supplemental income without leaving home.
Required Qualifications
- New Hampshire state licensed Optometrist
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics
- Ability to examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Ability to communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Ability to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Full days (8 hours) or partial (4 hours) schedule availability
- Coverage of at least 2 days a week
- Saturday availability
