Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses using patented remote video conference technology. Analyze patient eye health with support from Ophthalmic Technicians while working as an Independent Contractor from any location. Communicate verbally and visually with patients through specialized remote platforms. Schedules include full 8-hour days or partial 4-hour shifts with a minimum of two days per week, requiring Saturday availability on an every-other-week basis. We handle all necessary credentialing and training.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois state licensed Optometrists
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Independent Contractor status
- Examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed
- Communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology
- Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses
- Full days (8 hours) or partial (4 hours) with coverage of at least 2 days a week
- Saturday availability
- Illinois state license (multiple state licenses are a plus)
