Job Summary
Conduct routine comprehensive exams, dilated exams, and diabetic evaluations for patients in long-term care facilities. Diagnose and treat ocular diseases, infections, and injuries, while repairing and equipping patients with eyeglasses. Maintain proficiency in geriatric care and manage a daily caseload of 21 to 25 patients. Requires a valid OD license and driver's license; full-time roles involve an 8-hour shift with travel to nursing facilities. Malpractice and mileage reimbursement, plus health insurance and PTO, are included.
