Job Summary
Perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts, including dilated exams and diabetic evaluations. Diagnose and treat ocular disease, manage infections and injuries, and repair eyeglasses for patients. Work comfortably with the geriatric population in long-term care facilities, meeting with 21-25 patients daily. Travel to various nursing facilities to provide vision care services. This role offers a full-time or part-time schedule with an 8-hour shift, malpractice reimbursement, and federal mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold an OD License
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have her/his own means of transportation
- Must be willing to meet with 21-25 patients a day
- Must be willing to travel to different nursing facilities
