Job Summary
Operate yard trucks, forklifts, and cranes to load, unload, and secure freight while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Print bills of lading for daily deliveries and process damaged merchandise. Maneuver vehicles efficiently to pick up and deliver goods, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate driving logs. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols. Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and delays. Requires a valid Class A CDL with endorsements, forklift certification, and 21 years of age. Full-time position with competitive wages, pension, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification
- Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in resident state
- Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
- 21 years of age
- Meet all DOT and Company requirements
- Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
- Able to read, write and speak the English language
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and time managements skills
