Job Summary
Operate yard trucks, forklifts, and cranes to load and unload freight safely while maintaining a clean dock environment. Print bills of lading for daily deliveries, process damaged merchandise, and secure shipments before departure. Maneuver tractors and trailers to transport goods to various locations, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate logs for driving hours and cargo conditions. Adhere to all DOT regulations and communicate with dispatch regarding schedules or delays. This part-time role supports TForce Freight's LTL logistics network across North America, utilizing advanced tracking technology for regional and cross-border shipments.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification
- Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in resident state
- Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
- 21 years of age
- Meet all DOT and Company requirements
- Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
- Able to read, write and speak the English language
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and time managements skills
