Job Summary
Full-time outbound dockworker responsible for safely loading/unloading freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack, verifying related documentation, and communicating with terminal personnel; duties include selecting and securing freight inside trailers, using document-management system to track shipments, and maintaining a flexible schedule including day/night shifts and weekends/holidays, with overtime after 40 hours; requires English proficiency and adherence to safety rules; benefits include vacation, PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and disability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- forklift experience (preferred)
- warehousing, freight, and/or logistics experience (preferred)
- ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively
- ability to safely operate equipment and follow all company and government safety rules and regulations
