Job Summary
Assist customers and guests with general boating needs including securing boats to docks, black water pump outs, waste disposal, and general facility sanitation. Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain established quality standards for all marina operations while ensuring the area remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. Comply with all OSHA and environmental regulations, including proper PPE wear, and foster friendly, professional relationships with coworkers, members, guests, and vendors. Maintain a positive, accommodating demeanor as the first point of contact for arriving guests.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
- Some knowledge of marina operations or willingness to be trained in them
- Proven track record or innate ability to interface with customers positively and successfully
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
- Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
- Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
- Must be able to express oneself and effectively convey directions and clear instructions to a team of individuals
