Job Summary
Secure boats to docks, manage black water pump outs, and handle waste disposal per Dockmaster direction. Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain quality standards across all marina operations while ensuring areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Comply with OSHA and environmental regulations, including proper PPE wear, and foster friendly relationships with guests, vendors, and coworkers. Must independently lift up to thirty pounds, swim or wear a flotation device for emergencies, and effectively convey directions to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
- Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
- Ability to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
- Ability to express oneself and effectively convey directions and clear instructions to a team of individuals
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
- Some knowledge of marina operations or willingness to be trained in them
- Proven track record or innate ability to interface with customers positively and successfully
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
