Job Summary
Docketing Coordinator role in Downtown Los Angeles (hybrid then remote; must reside in Southern California) handling tracking of critical deadlines for matters, and heavy communication with attorneys, paralegals and secretaries. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred) and 2+ years docketing experience in a law firm, proficiency with iManage and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), strong knowledge of litigation processes, jurisdiction rules, litigation calendar software, PACER/ECF, and Federal/State court rules. Salary range 65-95k.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred
- 2+ years of docketing experience in a law firm setting is required
- Working knowledge of iManage and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of the litigation process
- Familiarity with and adept at researching multiple jurisdiction rules
- Litigation calendar software and PACER/ECF filings knowledge
- Working knowledge of Federal and State court rules, courts’ structures, procedural legal research and litigation support
