Job Summary
Dock Worker on 1st shift in Garland responsible for safely sorting mixed freight and loading/unloading outbound trailers, identifying damages and reporting shortages, securing freight for transit, operating an air compressor for airbag usage, and maintaining a safe, orderly facility while complying with company policies. Requires 1–2 years related shipping/handling experience, ability to read/write English, stand and walk continually, and lift up to 50 pounds; first shift runs 7 am–2 pm (or until on an as-needed basis) Tuesday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
