Dock Worker

Job Summary
Dock Worker needed to load/unload freight with forklift, pallet jack, or by hand. Duties include strapping/ padding freight to prevent damage, documenting freight condition on arrival at the service center, performing pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment, and maintaining regular attendance. Must be able to work independently or in a team, meet deadlines, and comply with company policies. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, turning, and lifting approximately 70 lbs. Position requires US work authorization and may involve overtime/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 17+ years of age
- Experience in transportation industry preferred
- Prior forklift operation or forklift certification preferred
- Must be able to push/pull loaded pallet jack/hand truck with at least 70 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to work all shifts, overtime and weekends
- Able to lift ~70 lbs
