Job Summary
Unload freight, sort product, count, and compile skids for the Terminal while understanding the company's Load/Stop system and handling both fresh and frozen goods. Move product via hand jack safely, maintain correct lifting procedures, and ensure dock equipment remains safe and operational. Complete shrink wrapping, verify bills accompany skids, record shortages, and photocopy documents for the O.S.D. Department. Perform necessary clean-up, sweeping, and garbage removal while following all health and safety policies. Maintain English communication skills and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs in a refrigerated environment. Work Sunday through Thursday from 11:30pm to 8am with overtime possible.
Required Qualifications
- English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to count freight
- Minimum of 18 years old to work a night shift (past 11:00pm)
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Proven positive work ethic
- Ability to tolerate working within a cold refrigerated environment
