Job Summary
Unload freight, sort product, count, and compile skids for the Terminal. Move product via hand jack safely while maintaining correct lifting procedures. Complete shrink wrapping of product going to other locations and ensure appropriate bills accompany each skid. Record shortages on bills and driver's sheets, and photocopy necessary documentation for the O.S.D. Department. Maintain dock equipment safety and follow all company health and safety policies. Perform cleanup and sweeping duties as required. Work in a refrigerated environment Monday through Friday from 2am to 10:30am at a rate of $21.84/hr.
Required Qualifications
- English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to count freight
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to work independently
- Proven positive work ethic
- Ability to tolerate working within a cold refrigerated environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience handling food and refrigerated products
